Life has been crazy, as it always is. :) Landon went to Boston for a conference, Kylie and Walt went to Idaho for a funeral, and we have been trying to squeeze school, work, housekeeping, and everything else we're supposed to do in between!

But we DID manage to have a thankful tree again this year. It was a good daily reminder of our many blessings, and a fun way to teach Walt about the season. Here are the things he was thankful for (I did not tell him to say any of these):

1. Mommy
2. Daddy
3. Jesus
4. Noodles
5. Daniel Tiger
6. Dexter (as in Dexter's Lab)
7. Skeletons
8. Crayons
9. Charlie Brown
10. Legs
11. The Thankful Tree
12. Knees

We didn't hit every single day,  so there aren't quite 28 of these. I am so proud of this list. Some of it is silly, and some of them are a little worldly, but he is thinking about what he loves and what he is glad he has. And I think that was the point of the exercise!

We're grateful for our family, friends, the beautiful place we live, our health, working cars, a warm home, food to eat, this opportunity for Landon to complete his education at an amazing institution, the gospel, and a million other things. Happy Thanksgiving!

I love your clarification on number 6...just in case any of us thought you'd subject your baby boy to Showtime's grizzly drama. :)
