Preschool Roundup

Remember how Walt started preschool last fall? We're starting to wind down, so I thought I'd give a little update.

Despite being the youngest kid in the group, Walt has thrived in preschool. He has loved making new friends, learning about letters, and doing a craft each week. The kids have been working on this cute little ABC book, which I think has been great because it has really reinforced what they've learned when they go back and read them.

Walt now knows what sounds most of the letters make, and can identify what letter a lot of words start with if we help him think about it. He has also learned about sharing, taking turns, and listening to instructions. 

But probably our favorite thing about preschool is our friends! Walt often talks about his "preschool friends" and asks when they are coming over.
