When Chelsea came for Thanksgiving, she was generous enough to watch Walt for us one morning while we headed to the Seattle LDS temple.
It was so nice to get away together and have some quiet time to worship and reflect. We really need to work out the babysitter situation here so we can do more of that.
The Seattle temple is pretty in a 70s kind of way. :) Funny enough, it actually looks a lot like the Provo temple, just more square. A fun surprise for us was that they have an original copy of the Book of Mormon on display, along with a piece of the Nauvoo temple.
Random fact: this was our 9th temple together, 13th collectively. (We've been to: Idaho Falls, Salt Lake, Rexburg, Jordan River, Manti, Provo, Bountiful, and Mesa + Kylie has been to Draper and Palmyra and Landon has been to the Lima temple in Peru)
Even though it was on our bucket list, I'm not going to rate the temple, because the experience to us is sacred. However, I will say that it's a cool building with beautiful grounds, and we had a great time going together!
