We made it to Seattle! We packed up our belongings, drove for two days with a 1-year-old in the back seat, enrolled Landon in his program, and are (mostly) settled in our new apartment. We are so excited for this new phase of our lives.
We are determined to make the most of our time here in the Pacific Northwest. On one hand, 3-5 years seems like such a long time when we think of time away from family, all of the hard work in grad school, 3-5 more years of apartment living, and the sad state of our finances after yet another 5 years of student living. On the other hand, 3-5 years is not that long when we think of all there is to explore in this beautiful coastal city we hope to soon think of as our own.
With that in mind, we're hijacking this space. It was time for a facelift; beyond time to include our son (the biggest thing to happen to us since starting this blog!) in our design. While still a good source of Walt overload to those interested, this blog will also become a place to keep us accountable for taking advantage of our time here. We've come up with a list of 100 things we want to see, do, eat, and explore in Seattle before we leave. We hope to discover even more along the way! We'll blog about them as we go, leaving photos, reviews and thoughts for the rest of you. You can view the bucket list through the tab at the top any time.
So hop on the bandwagon, live vicariously through us, and help us document our Seattlite transition!

Good luck with everything! I looked at your Seattle list and some of those things are really cool. I loved the Glass Museum, Flight Museum, and a bunch of other places you mentioned. I hope you have an exciting few years!
