In 'N Out

My baby is nine months old today. Nine months!! I am having a hard time coming to grips with that figure. This milestone marks the point that we've had him around as long as he spent "on the inside." These nine months have gone much faster than the previous nine months did. It is strange to think back to the day I found out I was pregnant, and then the day he was born, and then look over at his chubby cheeks and handsome smile today. Three such very different days, but all joyous.

So far, this stage is my favorite. But then, every stage has been my favorite, because he gets more fun every. single. day. It is a pleasure to watch him learn and grow.

Here's a few facts about Walt:

❶ Weighs 17 pounds, 9 ounces, 29" tall
❷ Brown eyes
❸ Blonde hair (we think)
❹ Started crawling 5 days ago
❺ Favorite Toys: the laptop, cell phones, anything with a string/strap, etc., his feet, teething toys, his bead maze
❻ Favorite Foods: Squash, carrots, sweet potatoes and mango (the only things we've fed him that he really didn't like were peaches and yogurt)
❼ He loves to talk, and when you make the noises he's making back at him he thinks it's great
❽ He's ticklish on his tummy, neck, and toes
❾ Has 2 teeth
❿ Looks just like his dad but has mom's hair

Crazy. I just realized that in nine more months, Walt will be 18 months old, and going to nursery at Church! Sometimes I have to pinch myself to remember that he is mine. Every day we get to spend with him is a little miracle - I cannot ask for a better blessing than this! We love you Walt-O!
