Sometimes I feel like we are really the luckiest people in the whole world. About 6 months ago, we found out that Wicked was coming to town - and that my sister was going to be able to get tickets through someone she works with. So, after looking forward to this for such a long time (the 6 months we had the tickets plus the years of singing along to the music before that), it was kind of a surreal experience. I was a little worried it would be a letdown because I had heard so much hype for so long - but it was everything people promised it to be. The cast was amazing and the story was even better than I imagined. The girl who played Elphaba was actually young Cosette in the original Les Miserables cast, which was pretty cool for me, since I love that play as well! Anyway, here are a few photos of our adventure. Thanks Abby and Mom! I can't wait to go again someday.

I love that you loved this. Trev and I saw it in Chicago and the Defying Gravity scene is OH MY GOSH AMAZING. I also love the pics of the three original Jackson girls - When you are all in a row you guys look so much more alike then I ever realized. I am glad you had so much fun.
Just don't read the book. I'm glad you got to go an enjoy the musical!! I was sooo excited for it to come to Utah too, but I didn't get hte chance to buy tickets. Then I read the book, not so impressed. Sooo I'm really glad to hear from someone else that the musical is good!!! (It must be TOTALLY different from the book, or it won't be in Salt Lake City and survive!!!)
DEFYING GRAVITY! Makes me want to sing along!
Be careful, someone might arrest you for taking illegal photos. :)
Wasn't it amazing? Thanks to Abby, for getting us tickets!
I sure have great kids. And you're all so much fun to hang out with. Thanks Ky, for being my friend as well as my daughter.
