Old MacDonald had a...

Farmer's Market! Kylie has been dying to go to the Farmer's Market all summer, but the one in West Jordan is on Tuesday nights, which has just never worked out for us, since I have been known to get home form work at 7:30. Yuck.

Our good friends, the Andersons, told us about a different market in Murray on Saturday mornings! This weekend, we took full advantage of that:Landon with Brother Anderson. This corn is soooo delicious! I wish we'd known about it sooner!

Brother Anderson showing off his wares. I think his father owns a farm. I teach his adorable daughter in my Sunbeams class! We really love their family.

Our spoils included fresh corn, half a box of peaches, zuchini, orange peppers, a red onion, fresh green beans, and an eggplant (Landon really wanted the eggplant...so he is now in charge of finding out how to cook it)!

That's good that you missed the WJ farmer's market. It's L-A-M-E!

I am jealous of all your vegetables. Trev and I are currently in between fridges, which cuts down on my on-hand-vegetable stock. I have a sweet eggplant lasagna recipe if Landon is interested. I love eggplant.

i am honored that i was able to reap the benefits of your excursion. Thanks for the stuffed zucchini (zuquiche), fresh peach pie, and wii competition.
I have provisionally lifted the limit on wii parties. You earned it.
