Donut Falls

Our life is slowly gaining some semblance of normalcy with our little guy in tow. We are now able to leave the house (occasionally), eat dinner together (as long as Walt's asleep), go to bed at a decent time (don't ask me about the waking up hour though!), and once again, have family adventures.
Yesterday we took advantage of Landon's day off to do something awesome: take Walt on his first hike. We broke him in slow on the Donut Falls trail: 1 mile in, 1 mile out. So doable. And extra fun!

Baby carrier = best purchase ever!

26

Yesterday, this amazing guy I know turned 26.
There should have been parades, and fireworks, and public recitations in his honor.
Instead, there were quiet celebrations at home, with the two people who love him best.
So in lieu of all the fanfare, here are 26 reasons to love him:

1. His smile
2. His patience
3. I never stop laughing when I'm with him (seriously, have you met him?)

4. He makes all my crazy projects into reality
5. He fulfills all of his responsibilities
6. He gets along with literally everyone
7. He's brilliant
8. He's driven to make a good life for us
9. He's an excellent apartment-hunter
10. He supports me in all my hopes and dreams
11. He's wildly attractive (in case you hadn't noticed)
12. He'd rather spend time with his family than have a million dollars
13. He likes to travel
14. He gets me
15. He sometimes talks in his sleep - I know this may seem like a downfall, but I find it adorable
16. He has never lost the little boy in himself
17. He's worthy of his priesthood and his temple blessings
18. He loves to play in the dirt, and found a way to get paid for it.
19. He's never kissed anyone but me
20. His priorities are always in the right place
21. When he walks into a room, you can't help but be happy
22. He makes me a better person
23. He gives the best hugs
24. He loves to read
25. Just watch him with his son. It tells you all you need to know
26. He loves me and Walt

Happy Birthday, Landon! Thanks for being you.
