How could anyone say no to this face?

Walt, Walt, and...more Walt
Being a parent is thrilling and exhausting, magical and chaotic, wonderful and wild all at once. Nothing can prepare you for your new life as you bring your little one home. We've had a fun and exciting couple of weeks with our little guy! After 4 days in the NICU (Walter was born with a collapsed lung), we were finally able to all come home as a family and get this party started. We are so grateful for the help of friends and family who've brought us food, came to visit, and been there to support us. We're also very grateful to live in Provo, where, when Walt needed a blessing at a moment's notice, the attending pediatrician was a worthy priesthood holder and able/willing to anoint our little son as Landon gave the blessing. We're grateful that the procedures were routine and he didn't have to stay longer. And we're so grateful to have him with us!
I want to remember this face...
And his little toes...
And the special week we had with Grandma...
And Daddy's excitement as he shares his love of science and learning...
And Grandpa riding a bus all the way to Utah to get another fix...
And the first feelings of being a family...
And all the little things I just can't seem to help buying...
I even want to remember the struggles we went through to get him here...
And I want to remember that it was worth it.
We love you Walt!
